ZMC Group Recalls LED Finger Beam Lights Due to Risk of Serious Injury or Death from Battery Ingestion; Violates Mandatory Standard for Toys

ZMC Group is recalling LED Finger Beam Lights (model A10-8) because young children can easily access the three button cell batteries inside each light. If swallowed, button cell batteries can cause internal chemical burns and death.

What is recalled

LED Finger Beam Lights, model A10-8, sold by ZMC Group. The toy comes in a hand-shaped cardboard package containing four finger lights in red, white, blue, and green. Each light has three pre-installed AG3 button cell batteries. The model number "A10-8," distributor/manufacturer information, production date, and batch number appear on a sticker label on the back of the packaging.

What to do right now

Stop using these lights immediately and keep them away from children. To receive a full refund or a replacement: remove the batteries from each light, break every component in half, and email a photo of the destroyed pieces to [email protected].
