Wybotics Recalls Robotic Pool Vacuums Due to Burn and Fire Hazards

Wybotics is recalling certain Osprey 700 Max and S1 robotic pool vacuums because the lithium-ion battery can overheat, creating a serious burn and fire risk. Affected owners should stop using the vacuum immediately and contact Wybotics for a free replacement.

What is recalled
Wybot-branded Osprey 700 Max robotic pool vacuums (model numbers WY3312MAX and WY100MAX) and S1 robotic pool vacuums (model number WY200), both in grey and blue. Only units with the following serial numbers are affected (where "XXXX" represents any four numeric digits): • Osprey 700 Max: WY100M230117XXXX, WY100M230127XXXX, WY100M230130XXXX, WY100M230318XXXX • S1: WY200-230328XXXX, W200**230330XXXX The serial number (a 10-digit number following the model name) is located inside the top cover of each unit. The "Wybot" brand name appears on the top/front of the vacuum.

You're affected if you own a Wybot Osprey 700 Max (models WY3312MAX or WY100MAX) or a Wybot S1 (model WY200) robotic pool vacuum AND the serial number inside the top cover matches one of these patterns: WY100M230117XXXX, WY100M230127XXXX, WY100M230130XXXX, or WY100M230318XXXX (Osprey 700 Max), or WY200-230328XXXX or W200**230330XXXX (S1). Check the serial number label inside the top cover of your unit.
What to do right now
Stop using the recalled pool vacuum immediately. Contact Wybotics to arrange a free replacement WYBOT C2 robotic pool vacuum, the company will send you a prepaid return label and ship your replacement within 15 days of receiving your unit back.
