2026 TOYOTA CAMRY HYBRID, 2025 TOYOTA CAMRY HYBRID: HYBRID PROPULSION SYSTEM: INVERTER

Toyota is recalling certain 2025 to 2026 Camry Hybrid and 2026 Corolla Cross Hybrid vehicles because a bolt inside the inverter may not have been tightened properly. This can cause sudden loss of drive power or an electrical short that could start a fire, both serious crash and fire risks.

What is recalled

Certain 2025 to 2026 Toyota Camry Hybrid and 2026 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid vehicles with an improperly torqued bolt inside the hybrid inverter assembly. Toyota recall reference numbers: 25TB15 / 25TA15. NHTSA recall ID: 25V869000.

Take your vehicle to a Toyota dealer for a free inverter assembly replacement. Repair parts are expected to be available in late May or early June 2026, initial notification letters were mailed March 11, 2026, and a follow-up letter will be sent when the remedy is ready.
