2026 TESLA MODEL Y: SEATS:CRITICAL FASTENERS

Certain 2026 Tesla Model 3 and Model Y vehicles have seat fasteners that may not be properly tightened. If the fasteners fail, the seat may not restrain an occupant during a crash, increasing the risk of serious injury.

2026 Tesla Model 3 and Model Y vehicles with improperly tightened fasteners attaching the seat back to the seat bottom.

Contact Tesla customer service at 1-877-798-3752 or visit a Tesla Service Center to schedule a free inspection and tightening or replacement of the seat fasteners. Reference recall number SB-25-13-003. Owner notification letters were mailed August 16, 2025.
