Mazda is recalling certain 2024 to 2025 Mazda3 and CX-30 vehicles because a software issue in the Sophisticated Air Bag Sensor (SAS) unit can trigger an error code and disable the air bags. If the air bags don't deploy in a crash, the risk of serious injury is significantly increased.

2024 to 2025 Mazda3 and 2024 to 2025 Mazda CX-30 vehicles, manufactured by Mazda North American Operations. Mazda's recall number is 7525E (NHTSA ID: 25V357000).
