The rearview camera on certain 2022-2026 Toyota, Lexus, and Subaru Solterra vehicles may freeze or go blank when backing up due to a software error. This can block your view behind the vehicle and increase crash risk.

What is recalled

Certain 2022-2026 Toyota, Lexus (RX, TX), and Subaru Solterra vehicles equipped with a Panoramic View Monitor (PVM) system. See the full recall report for the complete list of affected models.

You are affected if you own a 2022-2026 Toyota, Lexus RX or TX, or Subaru Solterra with a Panoramic View Monitor system. Check your vehicle paperwork or contact Toyota at 1-800-331-4331 with your vehicle identification number (VIN) to confirm.

What to do right now

Contact your Toyota or Subaru dealer to schedule a free software update to the parking assist system. You can also call Toyota customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Owner notification letters were mailed January 2, 2026.
