The second-row power seats in certain 2027 Kia Telluride Hybrid vehicles may fail to detect a person and continue moving during powered seat functions, risking entrapment and injury to a child or passenger.

2027 Kia Telluride Hybrid SX Prestige and X-Line SX Prestige vehicles equipped with the Executive Package.

You are affected if you own a 2027 Kia Telluride Hybrid with the SX Prestige or X-Line SX Prestige trim and the Executive Package. Check your VIN on NHTSA.gov (available March 25, 2026) to confirm.

What to do right now

Do not use the second-row power seat functions until the repair is complete. Keep children out of the rear seats during power-folding operation. Contact Kia customer service at 1-800-333-4542 to schedule a free software update (delivered over-the-air or at a dealer). Reference recall number SC366.
