Certain 2024 to 2025 Kia EV9 vehicles may have missing bolts on second- and third-row seats, which could cause seats to shift or fail to properly restrain occupants in a crash, increasing injury risk.

2024 to 2025 Kia EV9 vehicles with missing or loose second- and third-row seat mounting bolts.
Am I affected
You are affected if you own a 2024 or 2025 Kia EV9 and have not had the seat mounting bolts inspected and installed by a Kia dealer. Check your owner notification letter (mailed January 24, 2025) or contact Kia customer service with your vehicle identification number (VIN).
What to do right now
Contact your Kia dealer or call Kia customer service at 1-800-333-4542 (recall number SC329) to schedule a free inspection and installation of missing mounting bolts on the second- and third-row seats. Do not operate the vehicle with unrestrained or loose seats until the repair is complete.
