Chrysler is recalling certain 2022 to 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 2023 to 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L vehicles because a software error in the occupant restraint controller module can delay side air bag deployment during a crash. A delayed air bag increases the risk of injury in a side-impact collision.

Certain 2022 to 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 2023 to 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L vehicles. Chrysler's recall number is 01D. Affected VINs will be searchable at NHTSA.gov starting May 28, 2026.
