Hyundai is recalling certain 2025 Tucson, 2025 to 2026 Santa Cruz, 2026 Santa Fe, Santa Fe Hybrid, and 2026 Genesis GV70 vehicles because the side curtain air bags may not have been installed properly and could fail to deploy in a crash, increasing injury risk.

2025 Hyundai Tucson; 2025 to 2026 Hyundai Santa Cruz; 2026 Hyundai Santa Fe and Santa Fe Hybrid; 2026 Genesis GV70. Affected by improper side curtain air bag installation. Check your VIN at NHTSA.gov (searchable since November 22, 2025). Hyundai recall numbers: 289 and 029G.
