2026 HYUNDAI PALISADE: SEAT BELTS: REAR/OTHER:BUCKLE ASSEMBLY

Certain 2026 Hyundai Palisade and Palisade Hybrid vehicles with Limited or Calligraphy trim have faulty third-row driver-side seat belt buckle wiring that may prevent the unfastened seat belt alert from showing on the dashboard, raising injury risk. Hyundai will replace the wiring harness and seat belt assembly for free.

What is recalled

2026 Hyundai Palisade and 2026 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid vehicles equipped with "Limited" and "Calligraphy" trim packages, with defective third-row driver-side seat belt buckle wiring that causes permanent belt-fastened display on the instrument panel.

What to do right now

Contact Hyundai customer service at 1-855-371-9460 to schedule a free repair. A dealer will install a wiring harness extension and replace the seat belt assembly as needed. Owner notification letters began mailing May 8, 2026.
