2025 HYUNDAI IONIQ 6: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:12V/24V/48V BATTERY

The charging unit that powers the 12-volt battery in certain Hyundai and Genesis electric vehicles may fail, causing loss of drive power and increasing crash risk. Hyundai and Genesis dealers will fix this free of charge.

What is recalled

2022 to 2024 Hyundai IONIQ 5, 2023 to 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 6, Genesis GV60, Genesis GV70 "Electrified," and Genesis G80 "Electrified" vehicles with a faulty Integrated Charging Control Unit (ICCU).

You're affected if you own a 2022 to 2024 Hyundai IONIQ 5, 2023 to 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 6, Genesis GV60, Genesis GV70 "Electrified," or Genesis G80 "Electrified." Check your vehicle's year and model against this list.

What to do right now

Contact Hyundai customer service at 1-855-371-9460 (Hyundai vehicles) or 1-844-340-9741 (Genesis vehicles) to schedule a free dealer inspection and repair. Dealers will replace the ICCU and its fuse if needed and update the ICCU software at no cost.
