A defective crankcase sealing bolt in certain 2024 to 2025 Honda motorcycles can cause engine oil to leak onto the rear tire, which may cause loss of control and increase the risk of a crash or injury.

What is recalled

2024 Honda XL750, 2025 Honda CMX1100, and 2025 Honda CRF1100 motorcycles with an improperly manufactured crankcase sealing bolt.

Take your motorcycle to a Honda dealer to have the crankcase sealing bolt replaced for free. If you haven't received a notification letter, contact Honda customer service at 1-866-784-1870 and reference recall number KS2.
