Generac Power Systems Expands Recall of Generac and DR Power Electric Start Pressure Washers Due to Risk of Serious Injury or Death from Carbon Monoxide Hazard; Includes Additional Models

Certain Generac and DR Power electric start pressure washers can spontaneously start on their own due to a malfunctioning electronic start/stop button. If the unit self-starts in a confined space, it can produce deadly levels of carbon monoxide.

What is recalled
Generac brand electric start pressure washers with model numbers G0089111, G0088941, and G0088951, and DR Power brand electric start pressure washer with model number DPW3109DEN. These are gasoline-powered units with an electric start/stop button and a rechargeable battery. Model and serial numbers are on a label on the product's frame.

You're affected if you own a Generac or DR Power electric start pressure washer with one of these model numbers printed on the label on the frame: G0089111, G0088941, G0088951 (Generac), or DPW3109DEN (DR Power).
