Curtis International Expands Recall of Frigidaire-brand Minifridges Due to Fire and Burn Hazards

Curtis International is recalling Frigidaire-brand 6-can minifridges (model EFMIS121, select serial numbers) because the internal electrical components can short circuit and set the plastic housing on fire, posing serious fire and burn hazards.

What is recalled
Frigidaire-brand 6-can minifridge, model EFMIS121, sold in red at Target stores. Only units with serial numbers between A2001 and A2310 are included in this recall. "Frigidaire" is printed on the front of the unit; the model and serial numbers are on a label on the back.

You're affected if you own a red Frigidaire-brand minifridge with model number EFMIS121 and a serial number between A2001 and A2310. Check the label on the back of the unit for both numbers.
What to do right now
Stop using the minifridge immediately. Unplug it, cut the power cord, and write "Recall" on the front door with a permanent marker. Then register for your refund at www.recallrtr.com/minifridge and dispose of the unit following your local and state regulations.
