Ford is recalling certain 2024 to 2025 F-150, Expedition, and 2024 Lincoln Navigator SUVs with 3.5L GTDI engines because a misaligned engine cup plug can cause a rapid oil leak. That leak can stall the engine, raising the risk of a crash, or ignite a fire if oil contacts hot engine or exhaust parts.

2024 to 2025 Ford F-150, 2024 to 2025 Ford Expedition, and 2024 Lincoln Navigator vehicles equipped with a 3.5L GTDI engine. Ford's recall number is 25S30 (NHTSA ID 25V198000).

Take your vehicle to a Ford dealer for a free inspection. The dealer will check whether the engine cup plug is properly aligned and replace it at no cost if needed.
