Ford is recalling certain Explorer, Lincoln Aviator, Escape, Lincoln Corsair, F-150, Expedition, and Lincoln Navigator vehicles because the air bag warning label may be missing from the dashboard. Without this label, occupants may not know the correct restraint usage guidelines, which could increase the risk of injury in a crash.

Ford Motor Company vehicles across the following model years and models: 2020 to 2025 Ford Explorer, 2020 to 2025 Lincoln Aviator, 2020 to 2024 Ford Escape, 2020 to 2024 Lincoln Corsair, 2018 to 2024 Ford F-150, 2018 to 2024 Ford Expedition, and 2018 to 2024 Lincoln Navigator. Ford's internal recall number is 24C39 (NHTSA ID: 24V852000).

You're affected if you own a: 2020 to 2025 Ford Explorer or Lincoln Aviator; 2020 to 2024 Ford Escape or Lincoln Corsair; or a 2018 to 2024 Ford F-150, Ford Expedition, or Lincoln Navigator. What to do right now

Ford will mail you the replacement air bag warning label free of charge, no dealer visit needed. Owner notification letters were mailed December 19, 2024.
