Updated March 31, 2026
Ford is recalling certain 2025 to 2026 Bronco Sport and Maverick vehicles because the front passenger seat's occupant classification sensor (OCS) may fail to correctly detect whether an adult or child is sitting there. If the sensor misreads the seat, the front passenger airbag may not deploy properly in a crash, raising the risk of serious injury.
