BMW Brake Control Module Recall 2023-2025

2025 BMW I5, 2025 BMW X7, 2025 BMW X6 and more: ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL (ESC):CONTROL MODULE

Updated September 18, 2024

BMW is recalling a wide range of 2023 to 2025 model-year vehicles because welds inside the brake control module's servomotor can break, causing loss of power brake assist and rear braking. This can extend stopping distances and disable the antilock brake and stability control systems, raising the risk of a crash.
