Based Online Fidget Magnet Ball Toy Set Recall
Based Online Fidget Magnet Ball Toys Recalled Due to Risk of Serious Injury or Death from Magnet Ingestion; Violate Mandatory Standard for Toys
Updated January 22, 2026
Based Online Fidget Magnet Ball Toy Sets have been recalled because they contain loose high-powered magnets that children can swallow. If more than one magnet is swallowed, they can attract each other inside the body and tear or block the intestines, which can be fatal.
Is the Based Online Fidget Magnet Ball Toys recalled? Yes. This product was recalled by CPSC on January 22, 2026. Details below.
What is recalled
Based Online Fidget Magnet Ball Toy Sets, each set contains four textured, silicone-covered magnet balls (white, yellow, blue, and purple), each about 1.24 inches in diameter, sold in a black fabric zippered case. There are no identifying marks on the balls themselves.
Am I affected
You're affected if you have a Based Online Fidget Magnet Ball Toy Set: four silicone-covered magnet balls (white, yellow, blue, and purple, ~1.24 inches across) that came in a black zippered fabric case. Because there are no markings on the toys, the packaging and the description above are your best identifiers.
What to do right now
Stop using these toys immediately and keep them away from children. Throw the magnet balls away, then email a photo of the disposal to Based Online at [email protected] to receive a full refund.

The hazard
The magnet ball toys violate the mandatory standard for toys because they are loose high-powered magnets, posing an ingestion hazard to children. When high-powered magnets are swallowed, they can attract each other, or other metal objects, and become lodged in the digestive system. This can result in perforations, twisting, and/or blockage of the intestines, blood poisoning and death.
