AirClub Convertible Bassinets Recalled Due to Risk of Serious Injury or Death from Fall Hazard; Violates Mandatory Standard for Bedside Sleepers

AirClub Convertible Bassinets (model QX-831) have been recalled because the straps that attach the bassinet to an adult bed create a dangerous gap, wide enough for an infant to fall through. This is a deadly fall hazard and the product violates the mandatory federal safety standard for bedside sleepers.

What is recalled
AirClub Convertible Bassinet, model QX-831. Available in light grey, beige, and purple with quilted padding. The model number is printed on a label on the bottom of the bassinet, underneath the mattress pad.

You're affected if you own an AirClub Convertible Bassinet with "Product Model QX-831" on the label underneath the mattress pad, regardless of color (light grey, beige, or purple).
What to do right now
Stop using this bassinet immediately. Contact AirClub to receive a free replacement attachment mechanism (four new straps with T-shaped buckles). You'll be asked to cut off the two original L-shaped straps, throw them away, and install the new straps following AirClub's instructions.
