Certain 2025 Nissan Kicks have incorrect weight and wheel information printed on the certification label, which can lead to overloading the vehicle or improper tire inflation. Both issues increase crash risk.

What is recalled

2025 Nissan Kicks vehicles with certification labels showing incorrect Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) and Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) values. Additionally, certain 2025 Nissan Kicks SR trim level vehicles equipped with an optional 19-inch wheel package may have certification labels stating an incorrect wheel size.

You're affected if you own a 2025 Nissan Kicks and your certification label (located on the driver's door jamb) shows incorrect weight ratings or, if your vehicle is an SR trim with the optional 19-inch wheel package, an incorrect wheel size listed.

What to do right now

Take your vehicle to a Nissan dealer to have the correct certification label installed at no charge. Nissan will also mail you a replacement label. Contact Nissan customer service at 800-647-7261 for more information. Reference recall numbers PD136 and PMA47.
